What is BiGchar™?

BiGchar is the trademark for the soil improving biochar product made using the BiGchar technology in biochar production mode.

We offer the equipment to generate BiGchar in mobile, relocatable or modular fixed configurations so that the host user can choose between the advantages of mobility to access scattered biomass or the ease of energy exploitation and better control over emissions when adding to a fixed municipal, agricultural, forestry or industrial site. BiG also produces and sells biochar to bulk users and collaborative researchers in Australia. For more details refer to here. BiG does not export biochar.

The chemical composition and other properties of biochar are influenced by the nature of the feedstock, the specific conditions under which it has been pyrolysed and by any subsequent conditioning or modification. This offers opportunities to customise biochar for crops and specific soil types.
